Job Title: Executive Director, MOSAIQUE Mental Health Centre

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to oversee operations at MOSAIQUE Mental Health Centre. This role involves managing our centre’s various services that support student wellness and mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and coordinate the various mental health and wellness community services we provide to students, including individual wellness appointments, health navigation, art therapy, and social activities.

2. Direct the planning and implementation of our health promotion initiatives, such as educational posts, workshops, and social media promotion.

3. Manage the structure of our referral system, including liaising with private clinics and therapy centres for sliding scale referrals, centralizing resources for free clinics, and educating students about RAMQ Benefits, Student Health Plan & other Private Health Plan benefits.

4. Coordinate in-person activities related to wellbeing (such as yoga, exercise, cooking, etc.), and our Art Therapy program, which includes workshops, individual sessions, and Art Hive.

5. Collaborate with student clubs for events and provide mental health/wellness training and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, Master’s degree in public health, social work, counseling, or related field an asset.
• A minimum of two years of experience in community services, with at least one year in a leadership role.
• Familiarity with mental health services and resources available for students.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders, including students, staff, and partnering organizations.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
